PROGRAMS & SERVICES
Education – offers classes through out the Pacific Northwest in basic and advanced faith community nurse/health ministry studies approved by the International Parish Nurse Center and sponsors leadership training for caregiver classes.
Consultation / Support – responds to individual, congregational and organizational requests for assistance in establishing and sustaining a health ministry program.
Conference / Retreats – hosts a conference every other year, participates in regional retreats on alternate years, and hosts coordinator retreats during the year.
Resource Center – Provides information and links to resources and best practices relating to health ministry, in addition to interactive forums.
Foundations of Faith Community Nursing CLASSES Faith Community Nursing Multiply the Ministries of Your Congregation through Faith Community/Parish Nursing February 23, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 pm Friendsview Retirement Community 1301 E. Fulton, Newberg, OR Faith Community Nursing, also known as Parish Nursing, can multiply the ministries of your Church and support the call of Jesus to "preach, teach, AND heal." Come learn about the specialty practice of Parish Nursing and how it can support the many ministries of your congregation. Come to this lunch meeting sponsored by the Department of Nursing at George Fox University and Northwest Parish Nurse Ministries to learn about the Scope and Standards for Parish Nursing approved by the ANA, and hear from parish nurses and clergy doing this work in their churches.
